Old Circle Bluegrass Band was formed around 2004…..all old friends who had taken their musical paths and had circled back.  Old Circle seemed like a proper name for this bunch.  We are from Eugene, Salem and Portland.

Chuck “Chainsaw” Holloway, whose banjo is the one you hear at 5 in the morning at any bluegrass festival. Dennis Berck, rhythm guitar at its finest. Clyde “the Cute One” Clevenger; mandolin and guitar. Amy Hakanson: fiddle, nyckelharpa, anything with  strings on it, Amy plays, Nikki Clevenger, keeping the thumpage right where it’s supposed to be. Everyone sings, harmonizes and truly enjoys being in this band.

Ash Creek plays traditional bluegrass, recent vintage and original songs that just sound old. A good song is a good song, and its better with a banjo or a fiddle. Tim Howell (guitar, vocals), Gene Alger (banjo, vocals), Pam Beaty (bass, vocals) & Clayton Knight (mandolin, fiddle & vocals).
